Current Research Focus Areas
Overdose Trends
Understanding patterns in substance use—including opioids, stimulants, and emerging substances—allows us to respond proactively. Our work focuses on tracking trends, identifying high-risk populations, and adapting prevention strategies accordingly.
Community Health Data
We analyze community-level data to better understand social determinants of health, access to services, and barriers to care. This data helps guide decision-making and ensures resources are directed where they are needed most.
At HOPE in the Valley, research is not just about data—it’s about impact. Every insight helps us move closer to a future where prevention is stronger, treatment is more accessible, and communities are healthier.
Why Research Matters
Research plays a critical role in shaping effective public health responses. By using accurate data and evidence-based insights, we can design better programs, improve access to care, and ultimately save lives.
